Łukęcin is a small seaside village located in Zachodniopomorskie voivodeship, Kamieński county and Dziwnów district. In 2006, Łukęcin had 130 inhabitants, however, in the summer time up to 5 thousand people may stay here. In July and August, when the nearby seaside resorts are crowded, in this small settlement such a crowd is not seen. One can always rest here without the hustle and bustle of a crowd since it is the most peaceful place between Świnoujście and Pogorzelica.

The beach is 100 -150 meters from the edge of the settlement. The high cliff and yellow sand add to the charm of our beaches.

Łukęcin is a former agricultural village, with a few rural buildings seen along the road to Strzeżewo. The resort part of the village was built at the beginning of the 20th century and is nearly hidden in a beautiful pine forest, where you can also come across birch, spruce, maple, sycamore, oak and rowan trees. The buildings are mainly a few large holiday houses, villas, guest houses and many camping and tent sites. Łukęcin is extremely popular with scouts.

The proximity of the Baltic Sea and the iodine in the air create a unique microclimate which has a beneficial effect on the respiratory and cardiovascular systems. Due to these advantages Łukęcin is a popular seaside bathing resort.
